What SmoothG is
SmoothG was the headline upgrade after Matrix Nexus. Touchscreen, faster processing, smoother UI, and a Windows-based platform under the hood. The conversational unit logic stayed familiar, but the experience around setup, programming, and simulation got noticeably better.
Almost any current-era Quick Turn, SQT, Integrex, or Multiplex that's a few years old will have SmoothG. The training curve from Matrix Nexus → SmoothG is mostly UI; the underlying program structure is the same.
