Low grease/lube level; clogged felt pickup filter at the bottom of plunger-type pumps (waxy buildup); kinked or crushed flexible distribution lines; worn pump piston
- HelmanCNCindustry_blog
Using a standard Way-lube can leave a waxy buildup in the tank bottom which eventually clogs the filter. Cleaning with varsol and air gun and reinstalling should improve pump performance.

How to clear it
- 1
Check lubricating oil amount; replenish if required

- 2
Only PULL UP on the manual plunger of the lubrication tank — never push down. The plunger falls on its own as oil moves out; pushing down can strip the plastic gears driving the lube pump.

If the reservoir was run too low, purge air from distribution lines before resuming operation
- HelmanCNCindustry_blog
If the lube oiler was allowed to run too low, there is a possibility that there is air in the line, and the system would have to be purged before normal operation would be allowed to continue.

Additional notes
The 'pull up only' tip is the veteran-shop detail that distinguishes real notes from AI-slop.
